Whether our staff and volunteers are providing health insurance counseling, advocating for individuals in need of long-term care, or preventing elder abuse, AOP makes a huge difference that too few people in our community know about.

For every dollar you invest, AOP is able to save over $750 in health and prescriptions costs. Your donation also allows us to deliver educational seminars throughout the community, advocate for individuals in long-term care settings, and prevent and address elder abuse.

AOP aims to be an innovative and visionary organization that enhances the lives of adults living in Broome, Delaware, Chenango, Cortland, Otsego, and Tioga counties. Through our classes, seminars, counseling sessions, and advocacy efforts, AOP volunteers and staff impact the lives of over 3,000 seniors in our community each year. The unbiased information we provide empowers older adults and their families to make informed decisions. AOP is a private, non-profit, United Way member agency and was founded in 1967.
